We moved into our house in Dallas 2 days before I gave birth to our 3rd baby. I remember waddling up the sidewalk and my neighbor rushing out with a huge smile on her face to introduce herself and welcome me to the neighborhood. I didn’t know at that moment that Covid would hit 2 weeks later and that my neighbors’ smiles would be some of the only one’s I’d see outside my own house for months! In what was the most vulnerable time of my life, smiles and conversations with my precious nieghbor-mommas became lifelines for me. And Crystal Cavender and her sweet family were among those whose friendship on our little street meant so much!
Gosh this family is full of fun! Photographing them was just like a joy-filled party! We had the best time by the docks at White Rock Lake. Sweet little Blake was born to pose! She’s for sure the easiest kiddo I’ve ever photographed!
