There’s nothing quite like capturing a newborn session at home—the comfort of familiar surroundings, the little everyday details, and the genuine love that fills every corner of the house. This session with a sweet baby boy, his two adoring big sisters, and the family’s lovable dog, Darcy, was full of chaos, giggles, and so much heart.
The big sisters were so excited to meet their new baby brother, and it was such a joy to watch them doting on him in their own unique ways—one holding his tiny hand, the other whispering secrets only siblings can share. And then there was Darcy, who kept us on our toes with wagging tails and lots of curious sniffs. The energy in the room was wild at times, but that’s exactly what makes these in-home sessions so real and memorable.
We captured all the little moments that make a family so special: sleepy cuddles on the couch, playful chaos with the girls, and those quiet, tender snuggles with mom and dad. The laughter, hugs, and even the messy moments tell the full story of family life—imperfect, joyful, and full of love.
This session reminded me why I adore in-home newborn photography: it’s intimate, authentic, and full of personality. Baby boy is so lucky to be surrounded by such a caring, lively, and loving family (and a dog who clearly adores him too!).
