Samantha’s Senior Portraits | Wildflowers, Murals, and a Waterfall

Senior year is such a special season—full of big dreams, exciting changes, and the perfect reason to celebrate everything that makes each graduate unique. Photographing my sweet niece Samantha’s senior portraits was such a joy, and we couldn’t have asked for more beautiful (or fun!) locations to showcase her personality.

We started in the most stunning wildflower field, where the golden light and soft blooms made everything feel magical. Samantha looked radiant surrounded by all that color, and I loved how the flowers added such a natural, joyful touch to her portraits.

From there, we headed into Richardson to find some of the vibrant murals. They were the perfect contrast to the soft wildflowers—bold, colorful, and full of energy. Samantha brought her own confidence and sparkle, and it was so fun capturing her in such a lively, artistic setting.

We ended the session at one of my favorite hidden gems: the waterfall at Prairie Creek Park. With the rushing water and lush greenery, it felt like stepping into a little oasis. Samantha’s quiet, thoughtful side shone through here, and the portraits turned out absolutely breathtaking.

What I love most about this session is how it reflected all the different sides of who Samantha is—bright and joyful, bold and fun, and graceful. She is such a beautiful soul, inside and out, and I’m so proud of the young woman she’s becoming!

Samantha, I can’t wait to see all the incredible things this next chapter holds for you. Your future is just as radiant as you are!
